JCDL 2020 Proceedings is now available online at ACM digital library, you can access the proceedings through the link http://2020.jcdl.org/ConferenceProceedings.html during the conference. Please note that some of the pre-recorded presentation video are available as a supplementary material with each paper.

Due to many requests from the conference participants, the JCDL organizers decide to record the opening ceremony, closing ceremony, keynote talks, and paper sessions. If the authors of any paper do not want their presentation and Q&A to be recorded, please inform their session chair to stop the recording of their part.

As the combat of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic is still active in majority parts of the world, to help stop the virus transmission within and across communities and countries while allowing people options to participate, the Organizing Committee of JCDL 2020 has decided to bring together members of diverse digital library communities in an all-virtual JCDL 2020 conference with online sessions and discussions.

The ACM/IEEE Joint Conference on Digital Libraries (JCDL) is a major international forum focusing on digital libraries and associated technical, practical, and social issues. JCDL 2020 is hosted jointly by School of Information Management at Wuhan University and School of Public Administration at Northwest University on August 1 - 5, 2020 in Wuhan, Hubei, China. We invite participants to discuss innovation in Digital Library theory and practice, construction of sustainable ecosystems that help people create knowledge, and the promotion of societal transformation in a time of rapid change. Participation is sought from all parts of the world and from the full range of disciplines and professions involved in digital library research and practice, including computer science, information science, librarianship, archival science and practice, museum studies and practice, technology, medicine, social sciences, and humanities. Submissions are welcomed in various forms: long papers, short papers, panels, posters & demonstrations, tutorials, workshops and practitioners.
