Call for Posters & Demonstrations

Poster & Demonstration Proposals

Posters & demonstrations permit presentation of late-breaking results in an informal, interactive manner. Demonstrations showcase innovative digital libraries technology and applications, allowing you to share your work directly with your colleagues in a high-visibility setting.

Proposals for posters or demonstrations should consist of a title, extended abstract, and contact information for the authors, and should not exceed 2 pages. As indicated in JCDL 2020 Call for Submissions, poster & demonstration submissions should use the ACM Proceedings template (http://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template) and are to be submitted in electronic format via the conference’s EasyChair submission page.

Accepted posters & demonstrations will be displayed at the conference. Abstracts of posters and demonstrations will also appear in the proceedings as well as the ACM digital library. At least one author of each accepted proposal is expected to give a one-minute presentation.

All questions concerning posters & demonstrations should be discussed with the poster & demo co-chairs prior to the submission deadline of March 1, 2020. Notification of acceptance for posters & demonstrations is March 22, 2020. This year’s poster & demonstration co-chairs are:

Richard Furuta, Texas A&M University, USA

Robert H. McDonald, University of Colorado Boulder, USA

Jiangping Chen, University of North Texas, USA
